The Shimano Sora 2×9-speed drivetrain provides ample gearing for those long hauls, and our Gravel Disc alloy fork keeps the steering pinpoint-precise without adding extra weight to the mix. The Diamondback Haanjo 4, however, ups the ante considerably. We took our aluminum frame and added thru-axles front and rear to give it even more precise handling. Next, we added a carbon fork, which pushes the mute button on rough chip-and-seal roads and washboard sections of trail. The component package includes TRP Spyre C Flat Mount Mechanical Disc brakes and drivetrain components for performance, weight savings, and durability. HED Tomcat Disc wheels and grippy WTB Riddler 700x37c tires roll smoothly on pavement but can take plenty of abuse off-road.
